I have a folder in my email inbox labeled "blog" where I email myself ideas all the time. The trouble is, when I read through it, all the messages read like, "Write about the thing you saw at that place where the people were doing the stuff"

pfilbert - i do the same thing! i think i have almost as many emails to myself in my inbox half the time than i do from everyone else. i've also started placeholder drafts, in the same cryptic shorthand, of course.
